This is the hardest Cadet International tournament and training camp we have ever been to, made so by the attendance of most of the former Russian states and the Eastern European Countries.
Russia went home with 10 golds, 5 silvers and 4 bronzes, an amazing result from an awesome team of fighters.

5th Place Lee Shinkin

Lee and JR Badrick were selected to represent Great Britain at this tough Junior 'A' Tournament both at u66kg.

Lee won three matches to reach the semi-final where he narrowly lost to Fasie (ROM) (the eventual gold medalist) by a Koka.
He then faced the excellent Russian Kudziev for the bronze but lost by an arm-lock.

JR in his first Junior International lead Zydak (the eventual silver medalist) from Poland by Waza-ari before being caught for Ippon.
In the Repecharge he lost to Berucka from Lithuania.
