Tom Davis fought this tough international dominated by Russians, he won two contests loosing narrowly to the eventual silver medalist, Egger SUI, and in the repchage to the Russian, Popov.

This was an exceptionally tough event, last year we came home empty handed, and this year fought with two players short.
Knowing that we could only afford to lose one fight in each match the boys were excellent and in the final face the home team which contained three members of the Dutch European Cadet team.
Scott (who beat Lantinga who placed 7th at the Youth Olympics) and Jerome both defeated two of these three and with Shane and JR also winning we took the match 4-3.
